Winter Frost Anthology 2018 Submissions

Exclusive to Sonoran Dawn. Be apart of the holiday season by imparting some wisdom or describing the weather. We want to hear your impression of Winter Frost.

We are going to publish another Winter themed anthology ebook (pdf). We are looking for:

• Poetry under 20 lines
• Microfiction under 500 words

There are no fees associated with entering, but then there are no prizes either except acknowledgement as one of our creative writers.

The Year of Poetry

More Than Just Recipes

The Healthy Home Project has been added to the Food and Recipe section on Undawnted. 

These future publications will give readers a chance to find better, less toxic options. The consumer market is full of EPA regulated poisons, even pesticides in hand soap. Many of these ingredients are not even on the label. That has got to change. 

Our way to create change in the market place as consumer vote with their dollar is to provide safe alternatives. Free of charge. You're welcome. 

So be on the look out for additions to our publishing lineup.

Busy Making Plans

We have worked to expand our schedule. 

Undawnted has added sections like Spiritual Quest, Food and Recipes. Sonoran Dawn has published then had to revamp our novel publication schedule, dates overlapped too much. Now it is fixed. 

We will have our 2017 schedule out in December of this year. We still plan on publishing more articles and research essays as well as a chapbook and novel for diversity of interest.

So far this summer we have the following publications coming up for release on Lulu:

• Haunted Arizona: Travelogue of a Paranormal Enthusiast, August 18
• September 11th: A Tribute, 15th Year Anniversary, Sept 10

Welcome to the Family

Yesterday Sonoran Dawn Studios gave birth to another artistic creation: Visual Studio Productions under the dmullan.com domain. 

At first, DL Mullan's art was going to be housed and displayed at Undawnted but the artist and author soon discovered the complications. With this new site, artistic endeavors can be exhibited with no confusion. 

So please Google+ and add VSP to your subscription list.

Divide and Conquer, but for the Better

Over the weekend, Sonoran Dawn has been devising a better way to access our products.

We divided up the publications and created a Schedule page so that we can list what is coming up for release.

To that end, the Books & More page will list only those items that have been published either by Sonoran Dawn or by other editors in cases of anthologies. 

Also check out our Fiction, Nonfiction, and Poetry pages at Undawnted for the scope of our publication endeavors.

For those individuals on the business social media site: LinkedIn, I have been busy editing and reimaging my page. 

I added a background. I uploaded the Sonoran Dawn Studios logo to my profile. I revised my summary slot as well as the descriptions to my Villa de Paz and Undawnted credits.

Feeling at Home

Since my illness took over my life and disabled me, I haven't had a place online to call my own after DLM Studios went defunct.

I started up Undawnted, but that was more for my poetry and writing experience. The site did me well until I tried to expand. Then, I discovered how my credentials did not fit [within the context of the site] when I tried to put them there. 

After a meditation, I came up with and brought to fruition: Sonoran Dawn Studios. Everything clicked. I am satisfied that creating this umbrella to oversee my other creations, websites,  blogs, and radio personality was the right course.

 In that vein, I have scheduled each blog at different times for updates and news.
